Innovative protection against extreme thermal peaks

Project reference: Steel factory lifting hot steel plates under LED lights

XENRE LED luminaire designed for particularly extremely hot conditions, with an innovative selective glass housing. The selective glass has a very thin metal oxide coating that reflects heat radiation away but allows light to pass through. The housing can be removed if necessary.

Typical applications include steel mills and foundries where the luminaire may be exposed to very high thermal peaks for short periods of time.

In addition to the luminaire, a separately sold control unit is required, which can be placed up to 25 m away from the luminaire. One or two luminaire modules can be installed for each control module.

XENRE with protective mesh – Solution for blasting environments

The I-Valo XENRE luminaire with protective frame and metal mesh is specifically designed for use in abrasive blasting environments where conventional luminaires are exposed to continuous mechanical stress from high-velocity particles.

The integrated protective frame with metal mesh shields the luminaire’s enclosure glass from direct impact, significantly reducing the risk of damage in applications such as shot blasting rooms, blasting cabinets and surface treatment facilities. This makes the luminaire particularly suitable for environments where abrasive media is constantly in motion.

Based on the robust XENRE platform, the luminaire combines durable mechanical construction, high-quality components and reliable optical performance. It is engineered to operate in harsh industrial conditions, including dust, vibration and elevated ambient temperatures.
